I am a retired engineer living in a coastal village in England – married with two children and five grandchildren.
I have since had to find a way through chronic fatigue syndrome – M.E. – which led me into an unscheduled slower pace of life. Apart from the difficulties there have been unexpected benefits, including time for reflection. I can imagine now how the Biblical Amos must have felt, sat under his fruit tree and tending his sheep. I am reminded though, there came a time for him to move!
These blog posts are a selection or adaption of the best from my blog “walking with Father” – they have come out this journey, and are about the God who has marvellously brought me through so far, despite my protestations. The writings being in part devotional, inspirational or just thoughts and opinion, with the occasional surprise.
